Eloisa and Pedro, wedding on the beach of Mazatlan
Mazatlan, Sinaloa
Mazatlan, Mexico! First time for me finally! This place is absolutely peculiar. There are beautiful beaches and amazing fish restaurants in every corner. The city welcomes anyone with the tasty smell of shellfishes and see. The warm pleasant whether invites you immediately to have some fresh beers! From October to March, the city became the favourite vacation destination in Mexico for the majority of Americans and Canadians over fifty. To find the locals, you have to walk to the edges of the city, close to the see, happily enjoying the nights listening to the sound of the waves or some bars playing Regaeton.
Eloisa and Pedro, a very cheerful couple, decided to celebrate their wedding on a private beach of Mazatlan and they hired one of the best wedding expert Luis Rosete from Guadalajara. The ceremony was celebrated in the beautiful and magnificent Cathedral of Mazatlan which we tried to enhance using wide angle lenses and capture all its beauty and majestic.
During the sunset we had the chance to take some portraits along the coast, formals and not. A group of locals where enjoying the afternoon playing Mexican traditional tunes on the beach and invited the bride and the groom to have a short dance with them. That was the informal part of the session.
The party didn’t wait to explode and to involve all the guests, from the youngest to the oldest. Actually, the participation of the oldest part was the majority! I get impressed by the energy and the agility of the group of the oldest women which never stopped dancing! I learn how strong and resolute are women from Mazatlan thanks to this experience. Every wedding can be a new cultural experience!
