Gloria is a friend of mine but I never expected she would choose me as the photographer for her wedding! She has a lot of good friends who are in love with photography and I thought she didn’t need a proper wedding photographer but she rightly thought about the importance of hiring a professional photographer! And I’m very glad that she value the importance of having us that day.
When you can’t contain the emotion!
During the preparation at the Hotel, Gloria felt all her emotion coming out from her eyes and she couldn’t contain the tears when her friends came in to say hello.
Ceremony on the beach
Apart from the extreme hot temperature and the humidity, we could assist a nice and peculiar ceremony on the beach followed by a lovey, quite and friendly dinner.
Gloria arrived in a peculiar beach-bycicle, together with her brother who was the chofer. Everybody was anxiously waiting for the bride as the temperature was boiling our brains!
During the ceremony the bride and the groom did few gestures which are symbolic for the ancient tradition, related to the power of the Earth and the natural influences. This is a kind of thing I appreciate as I believe in our Nature too, as the actual power of life.
The unusual way out the ‘church’
A romantic formal session on the jetty
The long dock of Lignano Sabbiadoro ends with a red lighthouse where in the warm summer evenings, small groups of teenagers spend time together, talking about life, trying to solve all the world’s problems. I like the idea of putting the lovers in between them for a casual cheers and a kiss. There is a slightly contrast between the young guys and the couple, but the message is that we can all have fun, tha point is staying together!
And the toasts at last!
Guests are the soul of the party and there is always the funniest guy, the one who never stops toasting or hugging the bride and the groom. Well sometimes can also makes the funniest picture.
